How about some cheesecake?
A great holiday story from the 2018 holiday season. Here is a Fed-Life Podcast featuring the ladies from Furlough cheesecake:
On December 24th, 1929, at around 8:00 PM, President Herbert Hoover was attending a Christmas party where the U.S. Marine Band was playing Christmas carols. The President was soon privately informed that the West Wing executive offices had caught fire. The blaze had been started from a stockpile of over 200,000 government pamphlets from the Theodore Roosevelt administration, which had somehow combusted into flames.
